Does voice typing need internet? Where does my audio go?
Yes. Audio and instructions go directly to your selected provider; voice edits also send the selected text. Provider data policies apply. Ordinary Android keyboard typing works offline. Read the privacy details.
Can I dictate in Hindi or Hinglish?
Use preserve-language instructions or Translate to English mode. Quality depends on the audio model and recording. Android’s typing layout is English (India); a dedicated Hindi layout and explicit Roman/Devanagari controls aren’t included yet.
